Commune is a home grown furniture design and lifestyle company originated in Singapore, crafting high quality artisanal works for the design savvy.
Last February, our design team rearranged, restyled and reimagined the artistic pieces from their showroom. Our impression and overall style that they offer is “Industrial Modern Style” with highlights on texture, natural wood grains and rich colors like deep red and yellow ochre.
Commune also uses eco-conscious wood and timber imported from sustainable sources in USA, Asia and Europe and lacquers and coatings with low led content.
Vignette restyled and rearranged by our creative director Rose Ann Resoles. They also have pieces that lean towards Scandinavian style with scale that will perfectly fit small spaces such as condo unit and urban apartments.
Vignette restyled and reimagined by our design intern Arrah Pamintuan. On this showroom visit, we learned that furniture finishes can create big impact to a healthy indoor air quality. As designers, we need to select furnishings with low or no hazardous pollutants at all. Chemical off-gassing from furnishings can create pollutants from base materials like filler, glue, paint or even wood stain.
