Christine Manalo-Villamora
PRINCIPAL INTERIOR DESIGNER
“Interior Design should mediate the Architecture and environment of the place, personal theme and lifestyle of our clients. The overall ambiance of our designs should exude strong and expressive aesthetic value that will create a tailored fit design for our clients with discerning taste.”
Manila-based Interior Designer, and fashion and art enthusiast Christine Manalo-Villamora is celebrated by the design community for her contemporary and chic aesthetic in her interiors. Merging her passion for Interior Design with Fashion Design, the former ramp model wants to develop a design collection (just like creating a fashion collection) that will echo into her interiors throughout the year, with a certain theme and concept to inspire the whole look of her projects and innovate it to fit her client’s lifestyle and budget. Her design heroes include Monique Lhuillier, Michael Cinco and Victoria Beckham.
After graduating from Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2006 and passing the Interior Design licensure exam in 2008, Christine began her career in designing luxury interiors for Thunderbird Resorts and flagship stores for VMV Hypoallergenics. After many years of learning from design legends IDr. Ogie Periquet, Arch. Joel Songsong, and IDr. Nina Santamaria, Christine launched her own design company in April 2014. Her company specializes in high-end residential villas, condo-units, restaurants, and hospitality projects with highlights of contemporary interior design for the well-traveled, always upgrading lifestyles of modern-day Filipinos.
Months before she registered her own design company, Christine was featured in the pages of Arkitektura Magazine’s March 2014 issue and became the go signal to turn her passion into a growing business venture.

—– Webster’s New World Dictionary
A professional Interior Designer is one who is qualified by education and experience to identify research and creatively solve problems relatively to the function and quality of man’s proximate environment. Her competency includes fundamental design, design analysis, space planning and programming, the design of all interior spaces and an understanding of other and related aspects of environmental design. The designer does not usually stop at giving advice or producing drawings for interiors, but goes on to assume the responsibility for translating those ideas and drawing into tangible reality: specifying, ordering, and installing a huge volume of goods and services.
