Why did you decide to start your own interior design firm? CMV: The growth was very organic. There was a big demand at that time and I just responded to that demand. I am very grateful to do what I’ve always wanted to do… to design spaces. The question asked in this video is “Why did you decide to start your own interior design firm?” Before she created CMV Interior Designs, she had been working for 8 years as an interior designer. However, she chose to resign because she was trying to start a family. She thought that the pause from work would boost the chance of having a baby. After a while, she started missing the interior design work so she began blogging about her experiences, opinions, and interior design knowledge. It caught the attention and people started referring her for projects and it reached the point where she decided to finally register the firm. It was a very organic start; it was not forced or rushed. That is how CMV Interior Designs started. CMV: “The growth was very organic.
