Our Top 10 Favorite Nail Salon around the Metro
Featuring our guest blogger this month Ms. Abbie San Juan
This past week I’d had the privilege of joining my mother in a quest for the perfect spa party venue. As a teenager, I never used to pay much attention to nail salons, seeing as I had only visited them for special occasions such as weddings, prom, and the like. But as an Interior Design student, getting to see the variety of nail salons was a treat.
Today, I will be sharing with you some of the nail salons that we visited in Bonifacio Global City and the SM Megamall and EDSA Shangri-la areas. And though these will not be in any particular order, they were the ones that definitely stood out to me the most—either through the aesthetics, the furniture, or the atmosphere itself.
And as a disclaimer, I was not sponsored in any way by any of the nail salons mentioned. All opinions were formed purely from my mind.
California Nails & Day Spa
26th Street cor. C-5, Bonifacio Global City
This lovely tropical-inspired nail salon can be found on the 3rd floor of Market! Market! Although they do not offer spa parties, you may still make a reservation—or simply walk in, whatever floats your boat—and enjoy their services in a pleasant interior.
The combination of the curved ceiling, wooden accents and cove lighting give this interior a warm, cozy feeling. And with the palm tree decals, the comfy sofas and armchairs, you’re sure to have a better mani/pedi time. Simple, yet fresh and exciting!
California Nails & Day Spa offers head-to-toe services from mani/pedi’s, paraffin treatments, and facials to body waxing and body massages. And while parents relax, their kids can choose from an array of services as well.

Tips ‘N Toes
SM Megamall, EDSA cor. J. Vargas Ave., Mandaluyong City
If you’re less of the serene, tropical type and you want to try something a little more on the glam side, this nail salon in SM Megamall is the place you want to be!
Upon entering, right away I noticed the classic cupboard with little trinkets on display, and that itself already caught my interest.
The large, comfy armchairs were paired with legged furniture to give it the right amount of balance, so it isn’t too heavy on the eyes. Their individual seats are also separated by either a heavy curtain in what I believe is the hand/foot spa area for maximum privacy, or a glass panel in the mani/pedi area for a more open feeling, while still having that privacy you need.
The nail salon itself has a classical feel, with chair rails and wall panels in white duco finish and two varieties of fancy-looking (and feeling) wallpaper to give the room a little more character.
Tips ‘N Toes offers a wide range of services, from extensions for your eyelashes, nail services, to massage and waxing services.
If you’re interested in spending some me-time in this nail salon, you may find details on the services they offer here http://tipsntoes.com.ph/services/ or you may contact them through this number: (02) 635 9824.

Nail Ganic Lounge Organic Nail Spa
2nd Floor Eight Forbes Town Center, Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City
This nail salon speaks true of its name, as the interior is full of flowers, plants, and it even has a gigantic grass wall, in addition to their organic and vegan nail polish, of course.
Just after the reception, you are greeted with a full height built-in wooden shelf that showcases their nail polish and colorful flowers that provides the interior with movement aside from being an attractive welcoming piece.
The whole nail salon also uses neutral and natural colors—wooden floors, cream colored heavy curtains, and greens placed adjacent to blues, which create a fresh and bright aesthetic that is calming to the eyes.
Nail Ganic offers all around services such as hand and foot spas and body wraps that are earth-friendly and natural.
If you are in the area and would like to get your nails done in a refreshing atmosphere, I would recommend this nail salon. You may contact them through this number: (02) 893 3400 for your inquiries and reservations.
Mondays to Sundays: 11:00AM – 10:00PM
Nail Spa Lounge by Ellabell
5th Floor SM Megamall Atrium, Mandaluyong City
If you’re in the mood for getting your nails done in a nail salon that has just the right amount of fancy, Nail Spa Lounge will give you just that. Its interior features tall, rectangular fluted columns, a crystal chandelier, and a huge silky sofa that gives this nail salon that extra oomph, and by that I mean glam, with a Middle Eastern flair. Their mani/pedi area also has a gorgeous damask wallpaper-covered wall. But don’t you fret; although it sounds like it, the atmosphere is anything but intimidating. And its bright pink walls will perk you up and then calm you with their warm, moody lighting.
Nail Spa Lounge offers nail services with popular and trusted polish brands and waxing with products from Spain (hot wax) and ones that are homemade (cold wax).

Deep in the Burgos Circle area, you will find this chic nail salon. The interior is in all black and white, with pink accents. Their furniture pieces get that aesthetic boost with the black outlines and patterned pillows. And through the layout of furniture, clients enjoying their leisure time get to have the privacy that they need. The interior of this nail spa in generally simple, yet you’ll still feel the right amount of fancy.

The Nail Loft Hand and Foot Spa
Unit B-08 Basement Shopwise Commonwealth Ave., Holy Spirit, Quezon City, Metro Manila
This nail spa isn’t in the areas I’d mentioned above, but I wanted to give this salon a special mention because this is one of the rare ones I’d used to visit frequently. Their atmosphere is so relaxing because of the music they play while you get your nails done, and you sit in these soft, glamorous chairs. Their walls are covered with colorful wall coverings, and they really brighten up the space even though their lighting remains moody and soft. Also by the reception counter they have these cute colored shelves where they display all their nail polish, ready for your selection.

Manos Nail Lounge
Unit 2-I Crescent Park Residences, 30th St. Cor. 2nd Ave., Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, 1634 Metro Manila
The interior of Manos Nail Lounge is quite interesting because this is the only nail salon I’d visited that had a dining table by the entrance. But after inquiry, I found out that while serving as a waiting area, the dining space also served as the eating area whenever they had spa parties—or sparties, as some people like to call it.
They have a small hallway that brings your vision to these lovely wooden high back chairs, all of which face the view outside, so you can enjoy some sights will you sit down, relax and get your nails done. But you may also choose to sit at their other wooden armchairs or their tufted and upholstered two seaters with armrests.
Because they don’t fill up the room with furniture, the space just feels very open and light. There are also multi-level decks that give the interior more character. Overall, this nail salon’s space feels balanced and unified because of the furniture that they used.
They offer nail services for women, men and even kids! So if you’re interested, you can learn more about their services on their website which can be found here: http://www.manosnaillounge.com/ and you can give them a call through this number: (02) 478 4057
Tuesday – Friday: 11:30AM – 9:00PM
Weekends: 10:30AM – 8:00PM
5th Floor EDSA Shangri-La Plaza cor. Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City
If you’ve ever heard or watched the ABC series Revenge, you’d know that it takes place in the Hamptons, a popular area of New York, USA. This is what I imagined when I entered Nail Spa because this is the kind of interior I think they’d have over there.
If you’re looking for something more high-end, Nail Spa is one I would highly recommend. Padded walls, winged high back chairs, gold-finished tables, framed artwork, ombré walls—everything about this interior screams high-end, but its aesthetics and ambiance don’t disappoint. Everything is well balanced, from the furniture to the cove lighting to the cool, muted colors and patterns used throughout the space.
The exterior is framed by full height, sleek windows to invite people in, but its clients still get that privacy from the layout and orientation of the furniture. And all their furniture pieces are upholstered, which means you get maximum comfort while enjoying their wide array of services.
Their services include head-to-toe treatments, including massages, reflexology, waxing, and deep cleaning. Reservations and bookings can be made through this number: (02) 687 4991 and you can check out their website here: http://www.nailspa.com.ph/.

Nail. A. Holics Nail Salon and Spa
5th Floor SM Megamall B, EDSA cor. Doña Julia Vargas Ave., Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City
Nail. A. Holics is the “easy, breezy, beautiful” of the nail salons that I’d visited. Once you walk in, you immediately feel like you’re on vacation somewhere by the beach, and you’re getting your nails done on the sand. The first thing I’d noticed was their large picture walls, and then their furniture—all-white sofas and footstools with bold-patterned pillows. They even have special two-seaters that are covered with louvered walls and blue and green striped curtains, and there are simulated windows on the walls that act as mirrors to extend the space. What I loved about this nail salon was the fact that everything seemed so light on the eyes—minimal varieties of furniture, minimal lighting—but still, everything looked fresh and bright.
So if you’re looking for an easy, breezy manicure, hand/foot spa, or foot treatment, you may check out their website which can be found here: http://www.nailaholics.com/ or their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/nailaholics/ and you can make a booking or reserve now through this number: (02) 584 6606.

Nailandia Nail Studio and Body Spa
3rd Floor, Bonifacio Stop Over, Rizal Drive, Bonifacio Global City
The last nail spa I’ll be talking about, and probably my personal favorite, is Nailandia Nail Studio and Body Spa, located conveniently near my workplace. There’s just plenty to talk about in this interior. There’s the feature wall with well-lit shelves and cute trinkets, then there’s the different textured walls ranging from white bricks, plain and patterned wall covering. Of course there’s the quirky, eclectic furniture—from modern sofas with bold, colorful prints to the classical-inspired seating with oval backrests in plain color, patterned in either damask or stripes. They have a huge colorful mural of trees, which can be seen from the outside, and a gorgeous reception counter that’s made up of different-sized drawers with all these kinds of brass handles. There’s a lot going on yet the space still feels light, and I definitely felt a bit happier walking into this nail salon.
Nailandia Nail Studio and Body Spa offers a wide range of services as well as spa parties, so if you would like to experience this quirky interior for yourself, you may reach Nailandia through their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Nailandiaspa/; their e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org; or through these numbers: 0917-8035436 / 907-3900.
Mondays to Sundays: 11:00AM – 11:00PM
I would like to offer a huge THANK YOU to all the amazing nail salons mentioned for being so accommodating to my mother and myself (and even for letting us take pictures!). We truly appreciate it. I really enjoyed seeing all the different interiors and would love to come back and sit down to get mani/pedi’s someday.
And to you, dear readers, choose your favorite and book your next mani/pedi and hand/foot spa now!
